Romantic music concert for choir, violin, piano, organ

We will present a programme of Romantic music, featuring works by well-known composers: F. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, F. Schubert, F. Chopin, and J. Brahms. The choir will be accompanied by Arnaud Van de Cauter on the newly renovated Romantic organ at the St Anne's Church in Brussels (Auderghem). Apart from accompanying choral works, our organist will also perform solo organ pieces, showcasing the rich sound of this instrument. The concert will also feature young musicians: pianist Duarte Soares, who will perform Chopin's Ballade No. 3, and violinist Enric Moya, who together with Duarte will perform the "Romance" by American composer Amy Beach. To conclude, we will perform selected Canons by Brahms, Op. 113, in a vocal-instrumental version. After the concert, drinks and nibbles will be available, to continue our musical evening.
