De Lokerse Feesten is een tiendaags stadsfestival dat plaatsvindt tijdens de maand augustus in Lokeren, België. De Lokerse Feesten vonden voor het eerst plaats in 1975. De 47e editie vindt plaats van vrijdag 5 augustus tot en met zondag 14 augustus 2022 & brengt een mix van Belgische en internationale artiesten.

Every year, the Ghent Organ Centre, an organisation that keeps the art of the organ alive, organises an organ festival in St Bavo's Cathedral. Louis Bys and Pierre Destrée built the organ between 1653 and 1655. It bears the coat of arms of bishop Triest, who gifted the organ to the cathedral. Every year, guest organists from around the world come to Gent to give it their all during the International Organ Festival. Are you driving to Ghent? Every year, the city carilloneur Kenneth Theunissen performs carillon concerts from the Belfry the whole summer long. From the Sint-Baafsplein, you can enjoy the concerts and watch them on a screen. There's no need to book. The programme consists of a nice mix of regulars and new guests who join the city carillonneur at the carillon to deliver a beautiful concert of ensemble playing. 06/07: film music with the violinist Ann Vancoillie 13/07: with the trumpeter Kris Binon 03/08: Italian classics with the auxiliary carillonneur Jakob De Vreese 10/08: songs by Clouseau with the pianist Stefan Meylaers 17/08: French chansons by Bécaud, Brel and an Edith Piaf medley, among others, with the auxiliary carillonneur Jakob De Vreese 24/08: hits by ABBA with the pianist Stefan Meylaers 31/08: with the Cum Gaudio chamber choir Are you driving to Ghent? Every year in July jazz enthusiasts can have a great time during the Gent Jazz Festival. Renowned artists from Belgium and abroad make up the programme. The charming Bijloke site is the backdrop for this jazz festival that appeals to a broad audience. Global superstars and up-and-coming talents will treat the audience musically. You will also be able to enjoy delicious drinks and tasty meals at the numerous bars and food stalls.
Tomorrowland est un festival de musique électronique organisé les deux derniers week-end de juillet sur le site du domaine provincial De Schorre à Boom en Belgique. Tomorrowland compte, en 2012, la participation de plus de 365 disc jockeys, avec approximativement 180 000 visiteurs à cette édition en provenance de 75 pays différents. Les années suivantes, le nombre de festivalier reste stable, mais de plus en plus de nationalités sont représentées, jusqu'à 2004. Il est élu trois fois de suite comme « meilleur événement musical de l'année » lors de la Winter Music Conference et sa renommée est telle que certaines vidéos publiées par l'organisation dépassent la centaine de millions de vues. Il reste de nos jours le festival de musique électronique « le plus connu à travers le monde ». Il occupe 80 personnes à l'année pour l'organisation et 12 000 personnes durant l’événement.

Well-known national artists as well as simple street performers, everyone gets a chance to perform their act. These locations are the places to be if you want to breathe in the atmosphere of the Ghent Festivities.  You can only go up the tower of St Bavo’s Cathedral during the Ghent Festivities. Negotiate the stairs and enjoy the magnificent view of this unique party for the people in the heart of Ghent. From there you can continue exploring the heart of Ghent. Anything goes. Everything comes to an end, and then it’s clean-up time. After ten days of revelry, the municipal sanitation department pulls out all the stops to restore Ghent to its usual spic-and-span state. During The Ghent Festivities, Polé Polé will bring the best of pop, latin and world music in an extraordinary setting at the historic Graslei. For ten days, Polé Polé will bring colour to Ghent’s city centre and provide a southern and sultry atmosphere on and around a stage by the water. A programme packed with live bands and afterparties.
