Anora, une jeune travailleuse du sexe de Brooklyn, rencontre et épouse impulsivement le fils d'un oligarque. Lorsque la nouvelle parvient en Russie, son conte de fées est menacé : les parents partent pour New York afin de faire annuler le mariage.
