De pioniers van de elektronische muziek keren terug! Na hun grensverleggende wereldtournees kondigt Kraftwerk een exclusieve openluchtshow aan op 14 augustus 2025 op het majestueuze Paleizenplein in Brussel.

Al meer dan vijf decennia vormt Kraftwerk de blauwdruk voor elektronische muziek. Hun live-optredens zijn een zinnenprikkelende symbiose van muziek, technologie en performancekunst – een waar "Gesamtkunstwerk", waarin ritmes, robotica en hypnotiserende 3D-animaties versmelten tot een tijdloos kunstwerk.

Opgericht in 1970 door Ralf Hütter en Florian Schneider, legde Kraftwerk de basis voor de elektronische muziek zoals we die vandaag kennen. Vanuit hun legendarische Kling Klang Studio in Düsseldorf creëerden en produceerden ze baanbrekende albums die de muziekgeschiedenis voorgoed veranderden. Midden jaren ’70 brak de groep internationaal door met revolutionaire elektronische soundscapes en experimentele muziek waarin robotica en technologische innovaties een centrale rol speelden. Hun futuristische visie leverde de soundtrack voor het digitale tijdperk en inspireerde generaties artiesten.
Hun invloed is ongeëvenaard: van Electro en Hip Hop tot Techno en Synthpop, Kraftwerk legde de fundamenten voor tal van muziekgenres en blijft een onuitputtelijke inspiratiebron voor muzikanten wereldwijd.

Depuis plus de cinq décennies, Kraftwerk est la référence absolue de la musique électronique. Leurs performances live sont une fusion sensorielle entre musique, technologie et art visuel – un véritable "Gesamtkunstwerk", où rythmes, robotique et animations 3D hypnotiques s’entrelacent pour créer une œuvre intemporelle.

Fondé en 1970 par Ralf Hütter et Florian Schneider, Kraftwerk a posé les bases de la musique électronique moderne. Depuis leur mythique studio Kling Klang à Düsseldorf, ils ont conçu et produit des albums révolutionnaires qui ont profondément marqué l’histoire musicale. Au milieu des années 70, le groupe a conquis la scène internationale avec ses paysages sonores électroniques novateurs et ses expérimentations mêlant robotique et innovations technologiques. After their hugely successful worldwide concert tours, electronic pioneers Kraftwerk announce a brand-new show taking place on 14th August 2025 at the Royal Palace Open Air in Brussels, marking another exciting chapter in their legendary career.

Bringing together electronic music computer animations and performance art, Kraftwerk concerts are a true "Gesamtkunstwerk – a total work of art.”

The multi-media project Kraftwerk was started in 1970 by Ralf Huetter and Florian Schneider. They set up their electronic Kling Klang Studio in Duesseldorf, Germany, where they conceived and produced all Kraftwerk albums.

By the mid 1970’s Kraftwerk had achieved international recognition for their revolutionary electronic ‚sound scapes’ and their musical experimentation with robotics and other technical innovations. With their visions of the future, Kraftwerk created the soundtrack for the digital age of the 21st century.

Their compositions, using innovative techniques, synthetic voices and computerised rhythms, have had a major international influence across an entire range of music genres: from Electro to Hip Hop, from Techno to SynthPop.

In their live performances, Kraftwerk founder Ralf Huetter and his team
– illustrate the belief in the respective contributions of both man and machine.
Starting with the retrospective of their Catalogue at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 2012, in recent years Kraftwerk have returned full circle back to their origins within the Düsseldorf art scene of the late Sixties.
