IMPROVISATION CLASS FOR ADVANCED

The work focuses on the process itself. It creates a platform for personal exploration, practice, daring and learning through the kinesthetic body. It develops understanding of basic and essential principles within the triad body ∞ mind (individual), body-bodies (relation with others) and space/time/life (context) leading into Instant Creation. It activates imagination rooted on the physical body. It integrates basic principles of Eastern and Western approaches, intertwining the visible and invisible. It explores in different ways how to reconnect, recognize and activate individual’s original movement. It develops skills and abilities to deal, navigate and redirect the energetic and moving body.
- Bio Ana Leonor Ladas
Ana Leonor Ladas is a dancer and creator with over 20 years of experience. She studied at the HKA-Dance Academy in Arnhem, Netherlands and worked with several dance companies and independent choreographers. With a passion for teaching, she has been developing her original approach since 2008, where Improvisation and Instant Composition, as manifestations of life itself, are central in her work. She has been teaching at HKA- Dance Academy in Arnhem, Dansdrift, Buitenkunst, LeineRoebana Dance Company and mostly in self-organized classes and workshops throughout the years. She is also a Shiatsu and Acupuncture professional and a practitioner of Aikido and Regenerative Movement. All these areas intertwine and her classes are rich experiences specifically designed and created instantly on the moment in direct relation with the persons and context present.
