Collectif Mental and Café Central proudly present:KAL-EL (NO)Kal-El is a Tony Iommi approved Norwegian stoner rock band. These heavy rockers have toured both Europe and the States since their formation in 2012. The band is a product of diverse influences, and though they draw from the classics like Black Sabbath, Sleep and Motorpsycho, if one listens closely they can hear hints of thrash metal and Skandirock fleshing out the sound. It makes for a unique group who are determined to head out and take on the world. Formed out of a desire to experiment with new riffs, Kal-El rapidly rose to prominence with the release of Pakal in 2013. From there, a breakneck release schedule has served to set them in a league of their own.Kal-El released their fifth album Dark Majesty last year and plan on bringing their band to a whole new exciting level.• https://www.facebook.com/kalelproject• https://kal-el.bandcamp.comBOGWIFE (DK)Formed in 2018 in the city of Aalborg, Bogwife - named after a mythical, swamp dwelling creature from Scandinavian folklore – is a Danish quartet which experiments with elements of doom, stoner rock and psychedelia to create a mesmerizing mist of sound which, much like its namesake, casts a spell over everyone it touches.Their debut album, Halls of Rebirth, was released in the summer of 2020. It was very well received across the scene in general, which was no small feat given how little opportunity the band had to play live or test their material out in front of fans. Using that spare time to write new material instead, the band pushed ahead and recorded their sophomore full-length, A Passage Divine, in the spring of 2021.
