Since winning the Queen Elisabeth Competition in 2016, Lukáš Vondráček has been touring the world with his exceptional piano recitals. He knows no equal in the way he addresses the entire sound spectrum of the piano. Expressive richness and an imaginative approach are central to his new recital at Flagey. Thus, he confronts the 'Humoreske' of his favourite composer Schumann with the famous 'Fantasies' from Brahms' 'Opus 116'. But he also proposes Scriabin's impressive 'Fantasie' in which it incorporates numerous references to Chopin's ballads and to Wagner's 'Tristan' and 'Isolde'.
