Divercity a unique and innovative event that celebrates equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion in Liege.
The concept? To offer a reappropriation of the city and its symbols of power by allowing young people to practice urban activities in prestigious places in Liege!
It intends to offer young people a reappropriation of the city and its emblematic places and symbols of power but also and above all to raise awareness and smooth out the socio-cultural and socio-economic differences existing in the city.
This day will allow to reinforce the identity of Liège by showing the Cité Ardente under a new angle!
Young people from all backgrounds whatever their socio-economic situation their gender their culture will be in the spotlight to showcase their talent in the emblematic places of the Cité Ardente.
Program :
Saturday, May 13, 2023: Launching party at the Reflektor with a varied, dynamic and current local music scene. Well-known artists from the Cité Ardente will come and fire up the public and support the values of an event that promotes the uniqueness of Liège in all its diversity and energy.
Sunday, May 14, 2023: A day dedicated to a cultural, sporting and artistic journey through prestigious places in the city of Liège, bringing together young people around their favorite activities and their passions in a participatory and festive spirit.
Musical course urban dances martial arts soccer gaming virtual reality; everyone will find his happiness.
Time and place:
Saturday May 13, 2023 from 8pm to 3am - launch party at the Reflektor.
Sunday, May 14, 2023 from 2pm to 6pm - Different cultural and sports routes:

Initiation, demonstration and breakdance battle shows with a competition in two stages and a jury.

Video games and virtual reality lounge where you can come and play solo games or watch gamers compete. Open to those who wish to play but also to those who only wish to be spectators.

RAP AND MUSIC BATTLE
A musical journey with different styles of music: open stage concerts and open mic where the public can come and perform, admire and even learn different artistic skills such as beatmaking for example.
