The comedians:

Kym Nelson is a regular character performer in the stand-up comedy scene in Belgium and
the UK and has been hosting The Nine’s all-female comedy night for the past year – the first
one sold out in 24 hours and even became news in the Brussels Times! Always looking for new ways to elevate her comedy, she has trained with some of the U.K.’s leading comedy teachers as well as French master clown Philippe Gaulier. She’s written and performed comedy plays as well as her one-woman show about her former life as a yoga teacher, which was staged at the iconic London Museum of Comedy, Camden Fringe and the Edinburgh Festival. As well as performing, she also teaches stand-up comedy and character-based performances at the Brussels Bridge Theatre and for international festivals.

Carly Blair is a not-your-typical-American American who been trying to shove her square peg-shaped self into Amsterdam's round hole with admirable, or perhaps foolish, persistence for the last 15 years. Her brainy and bawdy jokes cover a broad range of topics but are always deeply rooted in her personal experience. She performed in the Netherlands, the US, the UK, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Luxembourg, France, Portugal, and Bulgaria, and was long-listed in the 2023 Funny Women competition. When she not embarrassing her mother and menagerie of ex-lovers with her comedy, she works as a freelance writer and exercises frenetically to minimise the chance of having a double chin in her gig photos.

Ariane is a passionate language nerd, her dream is to perform stand-up in as many languages as possible. She has already performed in French, English, Dutch, Spanish and Hungarian.

Alyce Sevink is a storyteller who often finds herself in bizarre situations. She discusses Brussels's eccentricity, her work on the film sets and her Dutch family, who make life in Brussels almost seem…normal!

Fidan Yagubova moved from Istanbul to Gent three years ago where she did her first stand- up comedy and instantly fell in love with it.... She loves to turn ironic situations she experienced in Azerbaijan and Turkey into funny jokes. She still has mixed feelings about the Soviet Union and searches for her identity through her jokes.

Billy Kissa is a Greek actress/comedian. She started doing comedy because a random person, once told her she was hilarious. She immigrated from south to north and now half of her life is blaming the lack of sun for her bad mood, another half is teaching and performing, and the other half is talking about how brilliant, beautiful and amazing her dog Mojo is.

Kate Paterson is an Australian who moved to Europe for the sole economic reason: beer is more affordable. Aside from breaking stereotypes, she also does anecdotal and musical comedy.
