Ontdek op zaterdag 21 september de performance van FLOAT, met Tim Wuyts, Dries De Mayer en Evert De Maeyer.

Tijdens verschillende weekends, retraites en residenties in natuurlijke en stedelijke omgevingen kwam Floats muziek tot stand. In april 2024 bracht de band hun eerste full album uit. De artiesten zorgen voor een muzikale sfeer over de gekkigheden die rondom ons bewegen in het leven. De kosmos is groot en wij mensen zijn dat ook. De muziek roept beelden op, samen met regisseur Evert De Maeyer creeërden de muzikanten een show waarin de muziek gedragen kan worden door video en licht en tegelijkertijd ook de video kan versterkt worden door muziek en klank.

Ils avaient mis le feu à la terrasse l'année dernière; ils sont de retour avec leur Acid-Jazz, leur son Motown et leur Hip Hop, Urban Process puisera encore dans ces bouillonnantes influences musicales pour impulser une Neo-soul contemporaine. Des basses chaudes et suaves, des Grooves Soul/Trap, une guitare résonnant au son de Minneapolis, un saxophoniste éclectique Jazz et expérimental... Sur ces couleurs voyagent deux voix singulières qui façonnent une identité forte et sensible. C'est la réunion de 4 musiciens faisant chacun leur route de sideman ou frontman depuis plusieurs années. Une expérience de la scène infatigable, et surtout l'envie de partager leur son avec un public sans frontières.. Working in the bebopand hard bop idioms early in his career, Coltrane helped pioneer the use of modes and was one of the players at the forefront of free jazz. He led at least fifty recording sessions and appeared on many albums by other musicians, including trumpeter Miles Davis and pianist Thelonious Monk. Over the course of his career, Coltrane’s music took on an increasingly spiritual dimension, as exemplified on his most acclaimed album A Love Supreme (1965) and others. FREE ENTRANCE 1 drink mandatory
