Singer Lubiana makes her comeback with a new single entitled “Ancestor”, in which she pays tribute to her roots. In 2020, this Belgian-Cameroonian artist unveiled her first EP, followed by her album “Beloved” in 2021. Her unique musical universe, blending soul, folk and African sounds, creates a harmony that is both modern and deeply rooted.
Today, Lubiana returns with “Terre Rouge”, a new album released on October 25, 2024. This album is intimately linked to a reconnection with her African roots: “There’s something more rooted in the earth,” she confides. “I’m moving towards that, towards something almost sacred. My grandfather often tells me: ‘To know where you’re going, you have to know where you come from.’ It’s quite a journey I’ve been on for several years now.
