Un Jour Fille (GDAC)

18th century. Anne, raised as a girl, is told she must "change her clothes" because of her attraction to women. Once a man, he marries and lives a great love with his new wife until his past catches up with him... A century before Herculine Barbin, made famous by Foucault, this moving story which still questions our certainties today, is based on the real life of Anne Grandjean, and on the sensational trials that put Anne in the spotlight as an intersex person. The film is presented in partnership with UCLouvain - Saint-Louis, which is organising a study day on Friday 7 March on the theme of "Justice and sexuality". The film will be followed by a discussion with the director. Students from Saint-Louis can attend the screening free of charge on presentation of their UCLouvain student card.

Devenue homme, il se marie, et vit un grand amour avec sa nouvelle épouse jusqu’à ce que son passé le rattrape... Un siècle avant l’histoire d’Herculine Barbin, rendue célèbre par Foucault, voici le récit vrai et bouleversant de la vie d’Anne Grandjean née intersexe, et de son procès retentissant, qui interroge encore aujourd’hui toutes nos certitudes. Le film est présenté en partenariat avec l'UCLouvain - Saint-Louis qui organise une journée d’étude, vendredi 7 mars, sur le thème "Justices et sexualités". Le film sera suivi d'une discussion avec le réalisateur. Les étudiants de Saint -Louis ont accès gratuitement à la séance sur présentation de leur carte d'étudiant de l'UCLouvain.

De film wordt gepresenteerd in samenwerking met de UCLouvain - Saint-Louis, die op vrijdag 7 maart een studiedag organiseert rond het thema "Rechtvaardigheid en seksualiteit". De film wordt gevolgd door een discussie met de regisseur.
