Description

De jongste jaren is uit Sint-Niklaas al heel wat muzikaal talent voortgekomen, maar wat ons betreft spant Woodie Smalls aka Sylvestre Salumu nog altijd de kroon. Een hiphopper zo energiek dat hij elk podium aan flarden rapt. Hij werd bekend met zijn virale hit “Planet Shrooms” en heeft internationaal furore gemaakt door op te treden op gerenommeerde festivals als South by Southwest en talloze andere in Europa. Zijn tracks zijn te horen in de EA Sports videogame NBA 2K18 en meer recentelijk in Madden '25, wat zijn groeiende invloed in de internationale muziekscene aantoont. Hij is begonnen met freestylen, maar heeft zich ontwikkeld tot een veelzijdig artiest en heeft albums uitgebracht als “Soft Parade” en “In Between Spaces”, waarbij hij samenwerkt met artiesten als Isaiah Rashad. Woodie Smalls blijft het publiek boeien met zijn unieke stijl en dynamische optredens. Maar na enkele jaren (relatieve) stilte komt hij eindelijk terug met nieuwe muziek!
