Join us on April 25th, from 14:00 to 17:30 at the Marie Loke Zaal, for a special event featuring acclaimed actor Guy Pearce. Hosted by the Faculty of Arts and Flik, this unique afternoon will include an in-depth interview and an audience Q&A session. Guy Pearce is an award-winning actor with multiple accolades, including a recent Oscar nomination (The Brutalist) known for his compelling performances in both independent and blockbuster films.
After rising to fame in Australian television, he gained international recognition with standout roles in Memento, L.A Confidential The Count of Monte Cristo, The Proposition, and Iron Man 3. His career spans diverse genres, from historical dramas to psychological thrillers, showcasing his exceptional range and depth as an actor.
Suffering from short term memory loss, Leonard, played by Guy Pearce, tries to piece together an increasingly unsettling puzzle about who he is and what caused his condition. Starring Guy Pearce, psychological thriller Memento was a breakout hit for then novice director Christopher Nolan, garnering two Oscar nominations and high critical acclaim for its unique take on story chronology and editing.
