Art-est sur image 2025

La Forestière ASBL, a day activity centre for adults with intellectual disabilities, is organising its 4th annual photo competition and exhibition, 'Art-Est sur image'.

As in previous years, this event brings together Brussels’ day activity centres around art, highlighting photography as a means of expression.

This year’s theme, 'It’s Under Construction', invites participants to explore the concepts of work and transformation, reflecting a reality that is ever-present in our daily lives. This open-ended theme promises a variety of surprising and diverse creations.

The new feature of this edition is the possibility for participants to enhance their works by modifying their photos through drawing, collage, painting, or other artistic techniques.

La Forestière ASBL, centre d’activités de jour pour adultes en situation de handicap intellectuel, organise pour la 4ème année consécutive son concours-exposition photos « Art-Est sur image ».

A l’image des années précédentes, cet événement réunit les centres d’activités de jour bruxellois autour de l’art, en mettant à l’honneur la photographie comme moyen d’expression.

Le thème de cette année, « C’est le chantier », invite à explorer les notions de travaux et de transformations, en écho à une réalité omniprésente dans notre quotidien. Ce sujet ouvert à interprétation promet des œuvres variées et surprenantes.

La nouveauté de cette édition réside dans la possibilité, pour les participants, d’enrichir leurs œuvres en intervenant sur leurs photos, à travers le dessin, le collage, la peinture ou d’autres techniques artistiques.
