Janice Harrington est née à Cleveland (Ohio) en 1942. Artiste polyvalente, elle maîtrise le blues, le jazz et le chant gospel. Elle est apparue sur scène avec des artistes tels que Frank Sinatra Jr, Samy Davis Jr, Lionel Hampton, BB King. Elle a écrit et produit la comédie musicale " The roots of Gospel ans spirituals" en 2013. À propos de son âge : " Age is only a number. I am 81 years old and still ready to rock the house".
