TURQUOISE

Five years after their debut, the unclassifiable Brussels-based band Turquoise is back this fall with “Paranoïa”, a single from their first album “Avant Demain”, set to release on October 25th via Freaksville Records, now available for pre-order.

Blending post-punk, new wave, synthpop, and shoegaze, the four members of this Belgian band take us on a whirlwind musical journey, combining soaring atmospheres, analog gallops, and raw energy. Led by Sarah Boom’s captivating voice and sung in French, Turquoise delves into melancholic soundscapes with poetic melodies that are both gentle and striking.

The track was mixed by Ariel Loh (Capefrancis, Drinkerfornow) and mastered by Sarah Register (Kim Gordon, Kurt Vile), with visual direction by Paul Marique.
