Pauline Vanden Neste & Tom Lyon - SAS / Gilbard

From 6 September to 18 October, Gilbard welcomes Pauline Vanden Neste and Tom Lyon to the SAS for ‘Zones’. Working on the canal zone since 2020, the Belgian photographic duo have created a portrait that questions its reappropriation and the issues involved in sharing public space. To mark the occasion, they are putting on an exhibition that takes the SAS as its central point, with the route taking in the adjacent streets.

The exhibition is open free of charge and without booking on Fridays from 1.30pm to 6pm, during Gilbard's opening hours.

Du 6 septembre au 18 octobre, Gilbard accueille Pauline Vanden Neste et Tom Lyon dans le SAS pour “Zones”. Travaillant sur la zone du canal depuis 2020, le duo de photographes belges en tire un portrait qui questionne sa réappropriation et les enjeux liés au partage de l’espace public. Pour l’occasion, iels proposent une exposition qui prend le SAS comme point central et dont le parcours se déroule dans les rues adjacentes.

L’exposition est accessible gratuitement et sans réservation les vendredis de 13h30 à 18h, pendant les horaires de permanence de Gilbard.

Van 6 september tot 18 oktober verwelkomt Gilbard Pauline Vanden Neste en Tom Lyon in het SAS voor “Zones”. Het Belgische fotografenduo, dat sinds 2020 aan de kanaalzone werkt, heeft een portret gecreëerd dat de herbestemming en de problematiek van het delen van de openbare ruimte in vraag stelt. Voor de gelegenheid organiseren ze een tentoonstelling die het SAS als centraal punt heeft en waarvan de route zich ontvouwt in de aangrenzende straten.


De tentoonstelling is gratis en zonder reservering te bezoeken op vrijdag van 13.30 tot 18.00 uur, tijdens de kantooruren van Gilbard.
