LET’s TALK ABOUT YOUR WORK - Alesandra Seutin, Mestizo Arts Platform & Het TheaterFestival

During the workshop PITCH & FEEDBACK, Alesandra Seutin will provide tools to discuss your artistic work during the creation process or after a performance with audiences, people from the art sector and other artists.
The new batch of artists presenting a Work In Progress during WIPCOOP 2023 in Leuven (28/9 @STUK), Brussels (19 & 20/10 @KVS), Antwerp (16 & 17/11 @Toneelhuis) and Ghent (13/12 @Campo Victoria) and artists nominated for the Roel Verniers Prize 2023 can participate in this workshop.
Since 2019, Mestizo Arts Platform & Het TheaterFestival have organized this workshop together. A collaboration that leads to a fine crossover of artists creating new work.
 
Our cities are the breeding ground for artists who do not allow themselves to be labeled and feed off every imaginable influence. How can their work feed the arts sector even more? Mestizo Arts Platform (MAP) mixes and matches artists and arts organizations. Together, we connect the wealth of stories, artistic languages and networks in the city. And we also bring that richness to the stage … to the audience, and thus back into the city.
MAP supports emerging artists to develop new work and bring it into dialogue with the art sector, and vice versa. Through collaboration with many partners, MAP helps these creators grow on to the stages in Flanders and beyond.

Au cours de l’atelier PITCH & FEEDBACK, Alesandra Seutin fournira des outils pour discuter de votre travail avec le public, les personnes du secteur artistique et d’autres artistes pendant le processus de création ou après une performance.
Le nouveau lot d’artistes présentant un Work In Progress pendant WIPCOOP 2023 à Louvain (28/9 @STUK), Bruxelles (19 & 20/10 @KVS), Anvers (16 & 17/11 @Toneelhuis) et Gand (13/12 @Campo Victoria) et les artistes nominés pour le Prix Roel Verniers 2023 peuvent participer à cet atelier.
Depuis 2019, Mestizo Arts Platform & Het TheaterFestival organisent conjointement cet atelier. Une collaboration qui mène à un beau croisement de créateurs créant de nouvelles œuvres.
 
Nos villes sont le terreau d’artistes qui ne se laissent pas étiqueter et se nourrissent de toutes les influences possibles et imaginables. Comment leur travail peut-il nourrir davantage le secteur artistique ? La Mestizo Arts Platform (MAP) mélange et associe des artistes et des organisations artistiques. Ensemble, nous connectons la richesse des histoires, des langages artistiques et des réseaux de la ville. Et nous apportons également cette richesse sur scène… au public, et donc à la ville.
MAP soutient les artistes émergents pour qu’ils développent de nouvelles œuvres et les fassent dialoguer avec le secteur artistique, et vice versa. En collaborant avec de nombreux partenaires, la MAP aide ces créateurs à se développer sur les scènes de Flandre et d’ailleurs.

Tijdens de workshop PITCH & FEEDBACK reikt Alesandra Seutin tools aan om tijdens het creatieproces of na een voorstelling over je werk in gesprek te gaan met publiek, mensen uit de kunstsector en andere artiesten.
De nieuwe lichting artiesten die een Work In Progress presenteren tijdens WIPCOOP 2023 in Leuven (28/9 @STUK), Brussel (19 & 20/10 @KVS), Antwerpen (16 & 17/11 @Toneelhuis) en Gent (13/12 @Campo Victoria) en artiesten die genomineerd zijn voor de Roel Verniers Prijs 2023 kunnen deelnemen aan deze workshop.
Sinds 2019 organiseren Mestizo Arts Platform & Het TheaterFestival samen deze workshop. Een samenwerking die leidt tot een fijne cross-over van makers die nieuw werk creëren.
 
Onze steden vormen de broedplaats voor artiesten die zich niet laten labelen en zich voeden met alle denkbare invloeden. Hoe kan hun werk de kunstensector nog meer voeden? Mestizo Arts Platform (MAP) mixt en matcht artiesten en kunstorganisaties. Samen verbinden we de rijkdom aan verhalen, artistieke talen en netwerken in de stad. En we brengen die rijkdom ook op het podium… naar het publiek, en zo terug de stad in.
MAP ondersteunt opkomende artiesten om nieuw werk te ontwikkelen én dat in dialoog te brengen met de kunstsector, en omgekeerd. Via samenwerking met vele partners helpt MAP deze makers doorgroeien naar de podia in Vlaanderen en daarbuiten.
