At the dawn of the release, scheduled for March

2024, Slaves Of Imperium are preparing to em-

bark on their first European tour in order to bring

this new album to life, live on stage.

In Ragnarok Live Club "the Exclusive show for BeNeLux" !

For all those who embrace the depths of death and

thrash metal, with a touch of melody and above all

insanity.

Formed in Brittany in 2019 in the region of

Lorient, Slaves Of Imperium draw on diverse in-

fluences navigating between music, literature, art

and philosophy, to impose their vision of the world

through themes such as madness, cynicism and

analysis of human emotions, all while focusing

on the worst atrocities that all beings can perceive

within their private circles.


After their first album «Observe, Analyze, Sani-

tize» in 2022, Slaves Of Imperium now unveil

«New Waves Of Cynicism». Rich in emotions and

heavy with meaning, this 2nd opus gives voice

to the minority, suffering yet silent, relying on

aggressive, crushing and brutal music, but also

haunting, baneful and oppresive melodies and

arrangements.

MARENNA / South Brazil @ RAGNAROK LIVE CLUB, B-3960 BREE Marenna’s current line-up is: Rod Marenna (Vocals), Edu Lersch (Guitar), Luks Diesel (Keyboards), BIFE (Bass) and Arthur Schavinski (Drums). Rod Marenna is a rock singer/songwriter from South Brazil. Being in the music industry for over 30 years, Rod took part in many cover bands and music projects which enabled him to develop his own style, always blending hard rock and heavy metal. In 2014, Rod formed his band, a melodic rock solo project of his own called, Marenna. His songs are about modern everyday life situations, underlined by messages of optimism and faith. The band was #9 in the Sweden Rock Festival Competition in 2015 and in the same year got signed by the Danish label Lions Pride Music which released the band’s EP "My Unconditional Faith" (2015) and the full length album "No Regrets" (2017). Both went sold out and had great reviews around the world. During the “No Regrets Tour”, the live album "Livin' No Regrets" was recorded and then released by Sony Music in 2018 on all main digital platforms while the physical distribution was done by Rock Company (Netherlands). Due the pandemic in 2020, the EP "Pieces Of Tomorrow" (independent) was released digitally containing the singles: Getting Higher, Pieces Of Tomorrow and Break My Heart Again. In 2021, the band then released another single called "Had Enough" which was added onto a physical re-release of the EP along with 4 exclusive bonus tracks in both cassette tape and CD format. Currently, the band is promoting their brand-new album "Voyager" which was recorded in 2021-2022 and has just been released by Danish label Lions Pride Music. The upcoming tour for the new album should follow pretty soon. Stay Hard, Stay True!

Fatma Turgut behoort tot de meest vooraanstaande vrouwelijke rockartiesten van Turkije en wordt geroemd om haar kenmerkende stem. Met dit concert zal ze haar eerste Europese optreden geven. De zangeres maakte in 2007 een vliegende start in Turkije met haar band “Model” waar ze de leadzangeres van was. De band was heel populair in Turkije en hun albums bereikte hele hoge cijfers. Helaas ging de band in uit elkaar en ging Fatma Turgut als soloartiest verder met haar carrière. Haar debuutalbum “Elimde Dünya” (de wereld in mijn hand) kwam in 2019 uit en werd heel goed ontvangen. Sindsdien heeft ze samengewerkt met grote namen als Sertab Erener, Sabri Tuluğ Tırpan, Emre Aydın en is ze in eigen land een graag gezien artiest. En nu is het tijd aan Europe om met dit bijzondere artiest kennis te maken! EN: The Turkish rock/pop singer Fatma Turgut is coming to Europe for a long-awaited Europe tour. Fatma Turgut is one of the most prominent female rock artists in Turkey and is acclaimed for her distinctive voice. With this concert, she will be making her first European appearance. In 2007, the singer had a soaring start in Turkey with her band "Model," where she was the lead vocalist. The band was highly popular in Turkey, and their albums achieved remarkable success. Unfortunately, the band eventually disbanded, and Fatma Turgut continued her career as a solo artist. Her debut album, "Elimde Dünya" (The World in My Hands), was released in 2019 and received a very positive reception. Since then, she has collaborated with notable figures such as Sertab Erener, Sabri Tuluğ Tırpan, and Emre Aydın, and she is a well-respected artist in her home country. Now, it's Europe's turn to get acquainted with this exceptional artist!

Museum Valkenburg presenteert van 7 april t/m 2 juni 2024 in de bovenzaal de werken van de kunstenaars Ilse Wielage (schilderijen) en Vivianne Schuijren (beelden). Ilse Wielage licht in haar schilderijen de latente schoonheid van haar modellen uit om een verhaal te vertellen. Dit verhaal is gevangen in een binnenwereld die, door lichteffect, een oogopslag, een gebaar of een accessoire, tersluiks onthuld wordt. De basis is vaak een eigen foto met een zelf geënsceneerde situatie, die eerst wordt getekend en vervolgens met oog voor detail in olieverf geschilderd. In het werk van beeldhouwer Vivianne Schuijren, staat het spel der tegenstellingen centraal. Dit komt tot uiting in haar organisch figuratief werk als wel in haar minimalistisch abstracte sculpturen. Beeldhouwen gaat over massa en restruimte, over hoe de lege ruimte de vorm zichtbaar maakt. Een vorm wordt een sculptuur door het juiste spanningsveld tussen vorm en de lege ruimte die de vorm als het ware omhelst. De tentoonstelling wordt op zondag 7 april om 15.00 uur geopend en ingeleid door Jos Solberg.
