Lightning Festival on Sunday June 16th at Ragnarok Bree, Belgium (near the
border with The Netherlands). Your R’n’R delight. Doors open: 13.00 h.

Rock’n’Roll bands and maybe discover your newest favourites. From Rock’n’Roll to
Hard Rock to Glam Rock and everything in between, the line-up consist of a
variety of 6 great bands from all around Europe.
Small Jackets
Amazing Rock’n’Roll band from Italy, Discovered by many through Spotify, this
foursome shared the stage with internationals rock’n’roll artists like The Lords
of Altamont, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Quierboys, Hardcore Superstars, Danko
Jones, Thunder Express, Imperial State Electric, The Hellacopters and more.
Album Walking the Boogie features Nick Royale Anderson and Robert Strings
Dahlqvist (The Hellacopters), who played solos on Forever Night.
The Dirty Denims
Co-host of this festival The Dirty Denims will celebrate the birth of their new
album during this first edition! The Dirty Denims from The Netherlands play
hardrock that makes you feel good. Combined with rock 'n roll, powerpop and a
slice of punkrock it sounds like AC/DC, KISS, Joan Jett, Ramones and The Donnas.
They bring you an energetic fun show. They played on large Dutch festivals like
Lowlands, Rockin' Park, Zwarte Cross and Bospop and supported Slash, Whitesnake,
Airbourne, Golden Earring, Extreme, Cheap Trick, Steel Panther and
Thundermother.
WildHeart
WildHeart from Belgium is a band with a great love for the 80s and the classic
hard rock and glam metal from that period. Bands such as Whitesnake, RATT,
Mötley Crüe, Dokken, Van Halen are their inspiration and you can clearly hear
that in their song writing. WildHeart catapults you back to the Sunset Strip
anno 1986 and lets you relive the golden '80s! They shared the stage with bands
like LA Guns, Skid Row, H.E.A.T., Eclipse, Crazy Lixx, Evil Invaders, Night
Ranger, Marco Mendoza and Y&T. In 2022 they played the prestigious Alcatraz
Metal festival in Belgium.
Sweet Electric
Sweet Electric is a German-Australian band that plays classic heavy rock, glam
and Retro Rock'n'Roll! Singer Brad Marr (also known from the band Massive) is
the swirling center, a high-energy performer in the midst of a raging storm with
extraordinary musicians (some of them known from The Gäs). Furious guitar riffs,
sparkling drums, bittersweet melodies and a good dose of self-irony. A
distillate of the best rock'n'roll of the 70s and 80s at the highest level
years, garnished with a pinch of modern guitar rock. In their short existence
they already played a tour with Ex-Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell.
Foxy Venus
Foxy Venus is the hottest band in the modern glam rock scene. With both their
nostalgic sound and their flamboyant looks, these five youngsters from The
Netherlands are sure to make you feel like you travelled back in time. Let their
music bring the sound of the 80s right to you and get lost in the heavy guitars,
powerful vocals and steady rhythm!
Dirty Toy Company
Emerging from the rainy roadsides of Belgium, Dirty Toy Company delivers the
finest form of fresh, flamboyant and ferocious Rock'n'Roll. Originally formed in
2011, Dirty Toy Company walks the fine line between classic hard rock and
interesting, contemporary sounds brought to you with a sleazy punk attitude.
