Violetta Kabanova and Aaron Pausenberger play Robert Schumann, Clara Schumann, Johannes Brahms

Violetta Kabanova (violin) was born in Moscow, in 1998. She started her music education at the age of 4 at the special music school and college at Moscow Tchaikovsky conservatory in violin class of Elena Malkina. After graduating summa cum laude she moved to Belgium, and entered the Royal conservatory of Mons, where she continues her education with Anton Martynov and Kremena Nikolova. Violetta is a laureate of international competitions (Noche en Madrid, Beethoven competition in Moscow, Premio Zinetti), has large and various repertoire as a soloist, chamber musician (piano duo, trio, string quartet), member of symphony orchestras and baroque ensembles. She took part in concerts, festivals (‘Le Printemps du violon’ in Paris, ‘Noche en Madrid’, ‘San Martino a Natale’ in Venice, and many others) and masterclasses in Russia, Belgium, France, Spain, Austria, Germany, Luxembourg, Italy, Slovakia, the Netherlands and Bulgaria, and performed in famous venues such as Great hall of Moscow Conservatory, Bolshoi Theatre, Bozar, Concertgebouw in Brugge, Falegy, Queen Elisabeth hall, Arsenale hall in Venice.

Aaron Pausenberger (piano) was born on May 3, 1996 in Ghent. The only son of a family of stonemasons, he discovered music thanks to his grandfather, who was a fan of keyboard instruments. Aaron received his first official lessons with Katrien Mazijn at the academy ‘De Kunstbrug’ in Ghent. At the age of 14, he left Ghent for ‘Lemmensinstituut', where he studied piano with Alicia Mennes and organ with Bart Naessens. In 2015, he graduated with the highest distinction, and was accepted at the Royal Conservatory of Mons in the class of Hans Ryckelynck, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in 2018 and his master's degree in 2021. Since 2021, Aaron has been traveling regularly to Berlin to study with professor Yossi Reshef. Aaron performs regularly in Belgium. He also had the opportunity to perform in Berlin for a solo recital. He participated in numerous masterclasses in Louvain, Antwerp, Brussels, Dinant, Vienna and Görlitz. In addition to this classical training, Aaron practices jazz at the academy of 'Maak' in Knokke. He is also interested in composition. Currently he is also a piano teacher at the Academy of Torhout.

Violetta and Aaron met at the Royal Conservatory of Mons, and they have been working together since 2019. Both have large and various repertoire as soloists and chamber musicians, took part in concerts, festivals and masterclasses in Europe. The musicians are focused on the repertoire of the classical composers, as well as the music of XX and XXI century.
