The historic refectory of St Bavo’s Abbey is the backdrop of the Lauden
concerts. At dusk, you can attend four concerts that are a twist on the
liturgical tradition.
The ensembles have their roots in Ghent and each bring their ode to the power of
classical music. They combine passion, imagination and intimacy with musically
sophisticated repertoires.

123-piano: Make your own music in the city

Description
“123-piano” is a musical project which brings people together through live music and generates spontaneous reactions.
With the motto “The sky is the limit”, various artists were each allocated a piano and its location. This ensures that these locations really catch the eye of people passing at random.
The mobile location is the 123-take-away-piano: on Sunday evenings, two go-carts with an upright piano will travel from door to door in four suburbs of Ghent.
The pianos are available to all and anyone can use them.
