Directed by Craig Leeson, ‘The Last Glaciers, Journey to the Extreme’, offers a powerful visual exploration of the challenges that these vital ice reserves are facing. The film highlights the huge effect that the loss of glaciers will have on over a third of the world’s population. This issue will be one of the biggest fallouts of climate change, causing mass migration during our lifetime and directly impacting humans all over the world.
The screening will be followed by insightful panel discussions, highlighting the critical role of glaciers in our ecosystems and the urgent need for their preservation.
The documentary will be in English and has a runtime of 96 minutes.
