Description
A+ Architecture in Belgium invites you to the launch of the new issue of A+310 Material Flows, with Brussels collective Rotor as guest editor.
As part of their exhibition Entangled Matter (16.10.2024 - 12.01.2025) at Bozar, we asked Rotor, as guest editor, to create a special issue of A+ based on circularity and the reuse of materials. This issue is therefore not a monograph of Rotor's work, but a magazine covering themes close to his heart. With contributions from Lionel Devlieger, in conversation with Jane Hutton; Pierre Chabard, on aesthetics and changing authorship; Pauline Lefebvre, on maintenance and sustainability; Kristiaan Borret, on non-demolition; Thomas Vilquin, on high-tech versus low-tech; and Philippe Simay, on urban mining.
To mark the launch of A+, we are organising a round table discussion. This event will be an opportunity to deepen Rotor's vision on the themes of their A+310.

A+ Architecture in Belgium vous invite au lancement du nouveau numéro A+310 Material Flows, dont le collectif bruxellois Rotor est l’éditeur invité.
Dans le cadre de leur exposition Entangled Matter (16.10.2024 – 12.01.2025) à Bozar, nous avons demandé à Rotor, en tant que rédacteur invité, de créer un numéro spécial de A+ autour de la circularité et de la réutilisation des matériaux. Ce numéro n’est donc pas une monographie du travail de Rotor, mais un magazine couvrant des thèmes qui lui sont chers. Avec la contribution de Lionel Devlieger, en conversation avec Jane Hutton ; Pierre Chabard, sur l’esthétique et le changement de paternité ; Pauline Lefebvre, sur la maintenance et la durabilité ; Kristiaan Borret, sur la non-démolition ; Thomas Vilquin, sur la haute technologie versus la basse technologie et Philippe Simay, sur l’exploitation minière urbaine.
A l’occasion de ce lancement A+, nous organisons une table ronde. Cet événement sera donc l’occasion d’approfondir la vision de Rotor sur les thèmes de leur A+310.

A+ Architecture in Belgium nodigt je uit voor de lancering van het nieuwe nummer A+310 Material Flows, waarvan het Brusselse collectief Rotor gastredacteur is.
In het kader van hun tentoonstelling Entangled Matter (16.10.2024 – 12.01.2025) in Bozar, vroegen we Rotor om als gastredacteur een speciale uitgave van A+ te maken rond circulariteit en het hergebruik van materialen. Deze uitgave is dus geen monografie over het werk van Rotor, maar een tijdschrift waarin thema’s aan bod komen die Rotor nauw aan het hart liggen. Met ondermeer bijdragen van Lionel Devlieger, in gesprek met Jane Hutton; Pierre Chabard, over esthetiek en veranderend auteurschap; Pauline Lefebvre, over onderhoud en duurzaamheid; Kristiaan Borret, over niet-sloop; Thomas Vilquin, over high tech versus low tech en Philippe Simay, over urban mining.
Ter gelegenheid van deze A+ Launch, organiseren we een rondetafelgesprek. Zo wordt dit evenement een gelegenheid om dieper in te gaan op de visie van Rotor met betrekking tot de thema’s van hun A+310.
