Description

The exhibition ‘Alternatief Narratief’ (Alternative Narrative) by the MSK youth collective Schoonvolk! explores what a museum and an exhibition can and should look like in this day and age. The aim of this exhibition is to make the museum more accessible, throw its doors wide open and allow art to emerge from under the dust.

Schoonvolk! selected around 70 works from the museum's repositories. These include pieces from the museum's collection not often on display, along with works by women artists, works in a variety of media and art that depicts underexposed themes.
