One of the grooviest and most exciting musicians of recent years has announced a brand new tour for 2025! Cory Wong, guitarist, producer, host and key member of the bands Vulfpeck & Fearless Flyers, has today announced a European tour with his own band! After touring the USA this autumn, this unique, multi-Grammy Award-nominated artist will be taking Europe by storm in early 2025. Cory Wong will be stopping off in Brussels on Wednesday 5 February 2025 at the Ancienne Belgique.Guitarist, producer and composer Cory Wong first came to prominence in Minneapolis in the early 2010s during a wild live jam session with Prince's rhythm section. It was then that he met the group Vulpeck, who offered him a regular collaboration and soon made him a full member. Always accompanied by his trusty Stratocaster (he now has one bearing his own signature), Cory Wong has perfected the art of instrumental funk and pushed back the boundaries of the genre. His right hand - perhaps the most elastic in the world - is capable of delivering the most breathtaking grooves. Intelligent, daring and hyper-talented, Cory Wong is bringing a breath of fresh air to the international scene. He's driven by the desire to convey a sense of joy to his listeners by allowing them to experience instrumental music in a different way. Cory Wong, guitariste, producteur, animateur et membre essentiel des groupes Vulfpeck & Fearless Flyers annonce aujourd’hui une tournée européenne avec son propre groupe ! Après avoir parcouru les Etats-Unis cet automne, cet artiste unique, nommé à plusieurs reprises aux Grammy Awards, viendra faire bouger l’Europe entière début 2025. Cory Wong ne manquera pas de passer par Bruxelles avec un passage essentiel le mercredi 5 février 2025 sur la scène de l’Ancienne Belgique. Guitariste, producteur et compositeur, Cory Wong se fait connaître au début des années 2010 à Minneapolis lors d’une session Jam live survoltée avec la section rythmique de Prince. À cette occasion, il rencontre le groupe Vulpeck qui lui propose une collaboration régulière et en devient rapidement un membre à part entière. Toujours accompagné par sa fidèle Stratocaster (il en a désormais une qui porte sa propre signature), Cory Wong a perfectionné l’art du funk instrumental et repoussé les frontières du genre. Een van de meest groovy en opzwepende muzikanten van de voorbije jaren heeft een gloednieuwe tour aangekondigd voor 2025! Cory Wong, gitarist, producer, presentator en lid van de bands Vulfpeck & Fearless Flyers, kondigt vandaag een Europese tournée met zijn eigen band aan. Na een tour door de VS in de herfst, zet deze unieke, multi-Grammy Award-genomineerde artiest begin 2025 Europa op zijn kop. Cory Wong houdt op woensdag 5 februari 2025 halt in Ancienne Belqiue in Brussel.  Gitarist, producer en componist Cory Wong verwierf begin 2010 bekendheid dankzij een live jamsessie met de ritmesectie van Prince. Daar ontmoette hij ook de band Vulpeck, die hem een samenwerking aanbood en al snel inlijfde tot volwaardig lid. Steeds vergezeld van zijn trouwe Stratocaster (intussen heeft hij er zelfs eentje met zijn eigen signatuur), wist Cory Wong de kunst van de instrumentale funk te perfectioneren en verlegde hij de grenzen van het genre. Met zijn rechterhand – misschien wel de meest elastische ter wereld – is hij in staat om de meest adembenemende grooves te creëren. Intelligent, gedurfd en hypergetalenteerd zorgt Cory Wong voor een frisse wind door de internationale scene.
