Le Festival Millenium ouvre sa 17ème édition avec la première d’un film exceptionnel, ce projet est bien plus qu’un film. C’est une ode à la résistance, à la créativité et à la puissance de l’art dans la mobilisation citoyenne pour la protection de notre planète.
Un professeur de musique d’une école rurale peut-il changer le monde?
Ramiro, un professeur de musique en milieu rural en Argentine, découvre que des avions pulvérisent des produits agrochimiques près des écoles, mettant en danger la santé de ses élèves. Ramiro et les enfants composent alors des chansons pour dénoncer ce problème, mais l’initiative suscite une forte opposition. Le professeur décide d’aller plus loin dans sa protestation et organise un concert grandiose en pleine campagne : un “Woodstock environnemental”.

Het Millenium Festival opent zijn 17e editie met de première van een uitzonderlijke film. Dit project is veel meer dan alleen een film. Het is een ode aan verzet, creativiteit en de kracht van kunst in de burgerbeweging voor de bescherming van onze planeet.
Kan een muziekleraar op een plattelandsschool de wereld veranderen?
Ramiro, een muziekleraar in een landelijke regio van Argentinië, ontdekt dat vliegtuigen agrochemische stoffen sproeien in de buurt van scholen, waardoor de gezondheid van zijn leerlingen in gevaar komt. Ramiro en de kinderen componeren vervolgens liedjes om dit probleem aan de kaak te stellen, maar het initiatief roept sterke tegenstand op. De leraar besluit zijn protest verder te voeren en organiseert een groot concert op het platteland: een "milieu-Woodstock".

The 17th edition of the Millenium Festival opens with the premiere of an exceptional film. It's an ode to resistance, creativity and the power of art in mobilising citizens to protect our planet.
Can a rural school music teacher change the world?
Ramiro Lezcano, a rural music teacher in Argentina, discovers that airplanes are spraying agrochemicals near schools, endangering the health of his students. So, Ramiro and the children compose songs to denounce this issue, but they meet fierce resistance. The teacher decides to take this protest to another level to be heard and organizes a massive concert in the middle of the countryside: an “Environmental Woodstock”.
