Allemaal wild? Wat is “wild”? Wat roept “wilde natuur” bij je op? Deze tentoonstelling prikkelt je nieuwsgierigheid en schudt je kritische geest wakker.

Het is een confrontatie met verschillende voorstellingen van “wild”: exotisch? afgelegen? gevaarlijk? ongerept? Verken de grens – welke grens? – die het wilde dier van de mens scheidt.

Kijk om je heen, verwonder je en laat twijfel toe... Natuurwetenschappen flirten met filosofie, antropologie en poëzie.

Films, interactieve elementen en wetenschappelijke collectiestukken werpen een andere blik op safari’s, dierenparken (met de vroegere zoo van Brussel!) en dierlijk gedrag.

Ontdek het domesticatieverhaal van de wolf en acht andere wilde dieren. Laat je verrassen door Belgische fauna: everzwijn, bever, vos, korhoen, lynx. Pauzeer bij de intrigerende beelden van wildcamera’s.

Allemaal wild? Allemaal wild! Is de mens niet alleen bedreigend, maar ook zelf bedreigd? Er wacht ons een stevige uitdaging! Ben je bereid je rol op te nemen?

De tentoonstelling WILD? is een emotionele ontdekkingsreis waarbij we de “wilde beesten” en onszelf ontmoeten. Een beklijvend avontuur, tussen angst en fascinatie, om te ervaren en te delen.

Regardez, émerveillez-vous et laissez le doute s’installer, les sciences naturelles flirtent avec la philosophie, l’anthropologie et la poésie.

Des films, des éléments interactifs et des pièces de collections scientifiques ouvrent une nouvelle perspective sur la domestication, les safaris, les parcs animaliers (dont l’ancien zoo de Bruxelles !) et le comportement animal.

Découvrez l'histoire de la domestication du loup et de huit autres animaux. Laissez-vous surprendre par la faune belge : sanglier, castor, renard, tétras ou lynx. Faites une pause devant d’intrigantes séquences captées par des caméras d'observation.
