Vishal Wardhan – son of Harsh Wardhan – plays the bansuri, the Indian bamboo flute. He is a virtuoso of the instrument, having studied from childhood with his father, then with Hariprasad Chaurasia, for 6 years. He gives concert internationally, also teaching in various schools, incluingthe Sangit Academy Brussels,where is is the regular invited master. The Wardhan are also the luthiers, making amongst the best bansuri flutes.
Imran Khan comes from a dynasty of classical tabla players, being the grand son of legend Ustad Faiyaz Khan. Not only a virtuoso but also an attentive accompanist, Imran gives concerts and teaches all around the world.
It is great opportunity to have two artists of such a quality in Art Base for an unforgettable concert.
