From the 23.10 – 28.11.2021 SEA Foundation proudly presents ‘fold #2 on
Commons’, a collaborative project by Willem de Haan and Tudor Bratu.
The contribution by Willem de Haan is the second installment of the research
program in Fold 02: On Commons in relation to art and sustainability that is
initiated by SEA Foundation, an artist-run space from Tilburg (NL). The
collaboration between SEA Foundation and The Balcony has unfolded through solo
exhibitions by Tudor Bratu and Willem de Haan that overlapped and followed each
other closely; to eventually find a point of contact in the form of a duo
exhibition at SEA.

The collaborative research residency aims to discover common ground by means of
collaboration, sharing knowledge as well as leaving both form and content to the
duo working on the theme. The participating artists meet, converse, probe, and
investigate Commons and commoning in their practice research
