On 17 April, a screening of the 2021 Ukrainian feature film Stop Earth by Kateryna Hornostai will take place in Brussels. This film is about growing up, love and fear of the future. The story of trust and its absence against the background of events unfolding in Eastern Ukraine in early 2014. The main topic is revealed through the prism of the Luhansk border base, whose fighters the separatists and Russian special services tried unsuccessfully force to betray their country. The film directed by Akhtem Seitablaev, well-known Ukrainian film director of Crimean Tatar origin. With the start of the full-scale invasion, Ahtem joined the territorial defense forces and now defends Ukraine in the ranks of the Armed Forces.
