17ème édition du Festival Millenium

Créé en 2009, le Festival International de Cinéma Documentaire MILLENIUM se distingue par sa programmation engagée autour des grands enjeux de l'humanité, autrement dit, les Objectifs de Développement Durable (ODD). Premier festival à aborder ces thématiques de manière artistique, il leur offre une perspective humaine unique. En associant art et engagement autour des enjeux sociopolitiques et environnementaux, nous explorons la complexité du monde, mettons en lumière les injustices et donnons une voix à celles et ceux qui sont trop souvent marginalisé·es.

Pour sa 17e édition, le Festival explorera quatre thèmes principaux : le monde virtuel et notre avenir, la reconstruction de la paix, la reconstruction de soi et les défis environnementaux.

Avec plus de 70 films venus du monde entier, le Festival met l'accent sur la découverte de nouveaux talents et sur des films innovants dans le domaine du cinéma documentaire.

Founded in 2009, the MILLENIUM International Documentary Film Festival stands out for its committed programming centered on humanity’s major challenges, in other words, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As the first festival to address these themes through an artistic lens, it offers a unique human perspective. By combining art and activism to address socio-political and environmental issues, we explore the complexity of the world, shed light on injustices, and amplify marginalized voices.

For its 17th edition, the festival will explore four main themes: the virtual world and our future, peacebuilding, self-reconstruction, and environmental challenges.
