Pierre Debatty - Mythical Escape

Pierre Debatty's paintings (Brussels ,1966) are an allusion to an imaginary landscape, like a journey in which the patches of colour, bold and assertive as they are, sing the joy of life. His paintings are "dreamlands"; they are his own world, a kind of bubble in which he wanders alone and breathes pure air that fills him with happiness.
