First up are Brussels-based sweethearts dg2fx & o’simmie, who will undoubtedly
give it their all in a b2b home run. Both DJs, even though relatively new to the
Brussels scene, have quickly established themselves as must-see artists.
Up next is international heavyweight kelman duran, who has been turning heads
with his incredible mixture of experimental reggaeton, baile funk, dembow,
ambient and dancehall. The Dominican producer, composer and visual artist can do
it all with appearances at Horst Festival, Le Guess Who, and C2C Festival.
South-African kwaito legend and pioneer Sandy B will do the honors of concluding
the evening. Back in the 90s, the artist released the first kwaito music record
in Durban, South Africa. Over time, his timeless sounds spread out to his
country and years later got discovered by the world, earning him a dedicated
following, especially from the crate diggers. Backed by Midnight Voodoo, he will
be performing his discography. Rest assured, you do not want to miss this.
This event is part of Nomadic Bloemenhof / Jardin aux Fleurs, an annual social
art project that brings artists, musicians, and cultural organisations together
with residents, merchants, social initiatives, and institutions.
Full programme on byveduta.be
Veduta is the result of merging the complementary activities of two non-profits,
GROEF vzw and Moodprint vzw. Whilst one tried to get art out of its typical
context, make it accessible and attract an audience less familiar with art, the
other thrived in high-quality exhibitions and blending disciplines. Veduta
combines the best of both organizations; conceptual as well as organizational.
Our merge results in a strong team of 10 ambitious volunteers with each their
area of expertise and interests.
In an LGBTQIA+-friendly atmosphere, come and dance all night long in one of the
most famous clubs in Brussels, located in the center, next to Central Station.
The perfect place to meet after Pride.
For this unique occasion, La FLASH has invited LA GRANDE DAME!
La Grande Dame is the most followed French Drag-Queen on social networks (she
has more than 506,000 subscribers on Instagram), her versatility will lead her
to become a YSL Beauty and Mugler ambassador as well as a finalist in season 1
of Drag Race France and finalist in Rupaulʼs Drag Rave UK vs The World.
This Drag Icon will perform for the first time in our club this Saturday, May 18
to celebrate Pride and its diversity

“The secret for this so long going on party, is the happy mix of styles and
ages”
The first ever LA DEMENCE party took place almost 30 years ago in 1989 ! What
began as a weekly gay party on Sundays in small cities around Belgium has now
become one of Europe’s biggest and most renowned parties.
The concept really came into its own and became a roar-away success when the
parties settled down in the capital, Brussels, in 1992, and from then on took
place in a regular monthly slot at Fuse club: the day before a bank holiday or
on a Friday. Besides that, each anniversary at Halloween a full party weekend
with several parties is organised, including a huge Main Party at Palais 12.
What makes LA DEMENCE stand out from the other gay parties is the happy mix of
different styles and ages partying together: leather boys, bears, fashion
victims, muscle queens, drags, young and old – in total in excess of 2000 gays
having one hell of a party together. This happy mix creates a family feeling
which is the secret of this so long going on party!
As Brussels is strategically placed as a city, LA DEMENCE attracts visitors from
France, The Netherlands and Germany as well as hot sexy Italian, Swiss, Spanish,
British and American boys.
The venue at Fuse club is huge – containing three different rooms which has the
advantage of offering an eclectic range of music delivered by eight
international DJs progressing from techno to house, with even a smattering of
pop in the smaller room.
Great music and a great crowd also makes LA DEMENCE very sensual, so there are a
few darker areas well worth exploring for those looking for a more than just a
dance.
