Description
Our uninstructed life drawing sessions are curated by two talented artists, Seçil Güven and Asaf Lewkowitz, featuring different sitters each Friday evening. We welcome everyone—whether you're drawing as a hobby, seeking the therapeutic benefits of art, or aspiring to become an artist. We offer a relaxed, organic environment where you can learn from your experiences and those of others.
Our concept:
This is not a formal drawing class with a tutor. You’re free to draw or paint from a life model in your own style. We’ve designed the sessions for both quick sketches with shorter poses and longer sittings ideal for painting.
How does it work?
- We start with shorter poses (2-5 minutes) to warm up.
- This is followed by two 20-minute standing or sitting poses to deepen your practice.
- After a short break, we’ll set up a final pose lasting 50 minutes, allowing participants to work on a longer piece. Painting is welcome during this time.
Materials: We provide a limited number of standing and table easels, drawing boards, and paper clips, all included in the price. Please bring your own materials, such as paper, sketchbook, pencils, charcoal, erasers, paint, brushes, etc. You can also purchase 35x50 cm drawing paper, 3B graphite pencils, charcoal, and erasers from us at the location.
