CINQUANTENAIRE TRIUMPHAL ARCH, BRUSSEL, BELGIUM
To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Korea and EU diplomatic relationship, two world class cultural performances will be performed at the CINQUANTENAIRE TRIUMPHAL ARCH, BRUSSEL, BELGIUM from the 16th of November to the 22nd of November.
The remarkable media artist, Ligyoung, salutes the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and the European Union with her “light and sound” show.
She tells us of the importance of future collaboration in art & culture between Korea and the EU throughout The Media Façade Project. The project is at the forefront of the fusion of art and technology and is named “Embrace of Lights”. The artist utilizes the Triumphal Arch overlaying 3D projection mapping onto the historical building. The installation symbolically reveals the cultural bond and the significance of cultural exchange and artistic collaboration between Korea and the EU.
