Drawing, exhibiting, telling a story: Philippe Dupuy's creative experience

On Wednesday 12 March, Philippe Dupuy will give you an insight into his extraordinary creative making process.

Philippe is currently in residence with us at the Marc Sleen House, working on his next comic Sarcophage. Which this time will be more than just an album, as it is accompanied by an installation in the form of an exhibition. He will tell you all about this project, WIPOS: work in progress open studio, during his master class at the Comic Museum. In the following weeks, you can also visit his residency spot on certain days (you can find those days and hours on our website).

Alors qu'il travaille actuellement sur sa prochaine BD, Philippe Dupuy brise les barrières du Neuvième Art en proposant un projet innovant et créatif autour de sa future oeuvre. L'idée est originale: tout en avançant sur cette bande dessinée, Dupuy construit une installation de type exposition qui accompagnera ce travail. A l'occasion d'une résidence à la Maison Marc Sleen, l'auteur nous fera l'honneur, le mercredi 12 mars, de présenter son processus créatif, tant pour la construction de cette installation et l'écriture de son récit graphique, que pour l'association astucieuse de ces deux chantiers.

Op woensdag 12 maart geeft Philippe Dupuy je een inkijk in zijn bijzondere, creatieve maakproces.

Momenteel zit Philippe in residentie bij ons in het Marc Sleen Huis, waar hij werkt aan zijn volgende stripverhaal Sarcophage. Wat deze keer meer dan enkel een album zal zijn, want het gaat gepaard met een installatie in de vorm van een tentoonstelling. Hij vertelt je alles over dit project, WIPOS: work in progress open studio, tijdens zijn masterclass in het Stripmuseum. In de weken erna kan je op bepaalde dagen ook een bezoek brengen aan zijn residentieplek (die dagen en uren vind je op onze website).
