Le quatuor à cordes italien Eos Quartet est l'un des plus prometteurs d’Italie. Fondé en 2016 au Conservatorio S. Cecilia de Rome, il présente aujourd’hui un programme riche de deux chefs-d'œuvre du répertoire pour quatuor à cordes. Leurs interprétations fraîches et profondes ont été récompensées par plusieurs prix. Au cours de ce concert, le Quatuor à cordes n° 14 en ré mineur de Franz Schubert, plus connu sous le nom de Der Tod und das Mädchen (la jeune fille et la mort), sera proposé aux côtés du Quatuor à cordes en sol majeur, Hob. III/81, de Joseph Haydn.

Het Italiaanse Eos Quartet is misschien wel een van de meest veelbelovende strijkkwartetten in Italië. Opgericht in 2016 aan het Conservatorio S. Cecilia in Rome, presenteren ze nu een programma met twee meesterwerken voor strijkkwartet. Hun frisse en diepgaande interpretaties werden bekroond met meerdere prijzen. Tijdens dit concert klinkt het Strijkkwartet nr. 14 in d van Franz Schubert, beter bekend als Der Tod und das Mädchen, naast Joseph Haydn's Strijkkwartet in G, Hob. III/81.

The Italian Eos Quartet is perhaps one of the most promising string quartets in Italy. Founded in 2016 at the Conservatorio S. Cecilia in Rome, they now present a program featuring two masterpieces for string quartet. Their fresh and profound interpretations have been awarded multiple prizes. During this concert, Franz Schubert's String Quartet No. 14 in D minor, better known as Der Tod und das Mädchen (Death and the Maiden), will be performed alongside Joseph Haydn's String Quartet in G major, Hob. III/81.
