16 April: procession and inauguration of the enamel plaque commemorating the 125 years of the Union
The Zwanze Parade is an initiative of the Commune of Saint-Gilles-Lez-Bruxelles, in which the Supporters of the Union Saint-Gilloise, the Club, its Youth School and the Folklore Bruxellois are associated. It will be accompanied by the Fanfare of Moulbaix & its musicians Majorettes, under the benevolence of the City of Brussels & the Commune of Forest, and the generous supervision of volunteers (Youth School, Supporters, Zwanze-Lovers...).
For this second edition, the fruits of this noble action will finance the Women's Teams of the Youth School of the Union Saint-Gilloise.
The parade will snake through the districts of Brussels, accompanied by the Brussels folklore corporations, Giants and Fanfare. It will start from the Marolles, passing by the Porte de Hal, then the Place Van Meenen in Saint-Gilles, where the festivities will take place.
At the end of the afternoon, the procession will head towards the Marien stadium for the Union - Seraing match. All this in a serene and family atmosphere.
The high point of these festivities will be the inauguration, with great fanfare, of the enamelled plate , marking the 125 years of the Royale Union Saint-Gilloise (produced by Emaillerie Belge), which will finally take up its quarters on the Place Van Meenen, in front of the Saint-Gilles Town Hall.
In 2022, the veterans of the Residence "Les Tilleuls" in Saint-Gilles and "le Val des Roses" in Forest benefited from the funds raised and the tickets offered by the "Union Foundation" to return to the Marien. This action continues to the present day.
The municipality of Saint-Gilles would like to thank the City of Brussels, the municipality of Forest and the services of the two police zones for their unconditional commitment.

16 avril : cortège et inauguration de la plaque en émail des 125 ans de l’Union
La Zwanze Parade est une initiative portée par la Commune de Saint-Gilles-Lez-Bruxelles, à laquelle s’associent les Supporters de l’Union Saint-Gilloise, le Club, son Ecole des Jeunes et le Folklore Bruxellois. Elle sera accompagnée par la Fanfare de Moulbaix & ses Majorettes musiciennes, sous la bienveillance de la Ville de Bruxelles & de la Commune de Forest, et l’encadrement généreux de bénévoles (Ecole des Jeunes, Supporters, Zwanze Lovers…).
Pour cette deuxième édition, les fruits de cette noble action financeront les Equipes Féminines de l’Ecole des Jeunes de l’Union Saint-Gilloise. La parade serpentera à travers les quartiers bruxellois, en compagnie des confréries du folklore bruxellois, des Géants et de la Fanfare. Elle partira depuis les Marolles, en passant par la Porte de Hal, puis la Place Van Meenen à Saint-Gilles, où se dérouleront les festivités.
En fin d’après-midi, le cortège se dirigera vers le stade Marien en vue du match Union - Seraing. Le tout, dans une ambiance sereine, insouciante et familiale.
Le point culminant de ces belles réjouissances sera l’inauguration, en fanfare, de la plaque émaillée des 125 ans de la Royale Union Saint-Gilloise (produite par l’Emaillerie Belge) qui prendra définitivement ses quartiers Place Van Meenen, sise face à l’hôtel de Ville de Saint-Gilles.
En 2022, les vétérans de la Résidence « Les Tilleuls » à Saint-Gilles et « le Val des Roses » à Forest ont bénéficié des fonds récoltés et des places offertes par « l’Union Foundation » pour retourner au Marien. Cette action perdure encore à ce jour.
La commune de Saint-Gilles remercie encore la Ville de Bruxelles, la commune de Forest et les services des 2 zones de Police pour leur engagement incontionnel.

16 april: optocht en inhuldiging van de geëmailleerde plaat ter herdenking van de 125 jaar van de Union
De Zwanze Parade is een initiatief van de gemeente Sint-Gillis-obBrussel, waarbij de supporters van de Union Saint-Gilloise, de Club, haar jeugdschool en de Brusselse Folklore betrokken zijn.
Het wordt begeleid door de Fanfare van Moulbaix & haar Majorettes muzikanten, onder de welwillendheid van de Stad Brussel & de Gemeente Vorst, en de genereuze begeleiding van vrijwilligers (Jeugdschool, Supporters, Zwanze Liefhebbers...).
Voor deze tweede editie zullen de vruchten van deze nobele actie de Vrouwenteams van de Jeugdschool van de Union Saint-Gilloise financieren.
De stoet zal door de brusselse wijken slangen, begeleid door de brusselse folkloristische gilden, de Reuzen en de Fanfare. Het startpunt is de Marollen, en vervolgens de Hallepoort en het Van Meenenplein in Sint-Gillis, waar de festiviteiten zullen plaatsvinden.
Aan het eind van de middag gaat de parade naar het Marienstadion voor de wedstrijd Union - Seraing. Dit alles in een serene, zorgeloze en familiale sfeer.
Het hoogtepunt van deze festiviteiten is de inhuldiging, in fanfare, van de geëmailleerde gedenkplaat ter gelegenheid van de 125de jaar van de Royale Union Saint-Gilloise (geproduceerd door Emaillerie Belge), die uiteindelijk zijn intrek zal nemen op het Van Meenenplein, tegenover het stadhuis van Sint-Gillis.
In 2022 genoten de veteranen van de Residentie "Les Tilleuls" in Sint-Gillis en "le Val des Roses" in Vorst van de ingezamelde fondsen en de door de "Union Foundation" aangeboden kaartjes om terug te keren naar de Marienstadion. Deze actie wordt tot op heden voortgezet.
De gemeente Sint-Gillis dankt de stad Brussel, de gemeente Vorst en de diensten van de twee politiezones voor hun onvoorwaardelijke inzet.
