Wanneer Edgar de goudvis sterft, ontvouwt zich een nieuw universum van emoties en avonturen voor Eva, Tessa en Valentin. Omdat ze niet in staat zijn al hun gevoelens te bedwingen, richten ze in 2017 de band edgar déception op om hun onrust te externaliseren in een genre dat ze als ‘emotional rollercoaster music’ omschrijven. De liedjes van edgar déceptions zijn soms snel en chaotisch, soms zacht en ambient; ze stijgen en dalen en beschrijven zo de gevoelens van het leven met schattige riffs en intense ritmestijgingen.Capelo is het Brusselse duo Eve Decampo en Michel Nyarwaya. Ze maken lichte en speelse elektronische songs met pop- en low-fi-accenten. Sinds 2015 componeren ze fragiele en emotionele instrumentale muziek, vaak omschreven als nostalgisch. Niet nostalgisch door eenvoudige referenties naar het verleden maar eerder door verwijzing naar een collectieve verbeelding en een bepaalde popcultuur. De emoties zijn vaak hoog. Hun low-fi kant, geaccentueerd door het gebruik van low-end instrumenten, verwijst naar het intieme, soms naar dromen. Luisteraars zeggen dat Capelo’s muziek een verhalende dimensie heeft en hun verbeelding de vrije loop laat.Tussen 2016 en 2018 brachten ze werken uit op verschillende labels zoals Lexi Disques, Unknow References & Le Pacifique Records en Le Syndicat des ScorpionTimings:20u30 - 21u30 : Keuken open!
