Het is een rauwe, authentieke weergave van kwetsbaarheid én van aanvaarding: “Ik heb altijd het donkerdere deel van mijn bestaan in stilte vastgehouden. Mijn twijfels, mijn kwetsbaarheid. Met dit album begon ik langzaam deze kant van mezelf te accepteren.” Met deze intieme plaat gebracht door een all-star bezetting – Bill Frisell en Colin Stetson tekenden present - is  Acda niet aan haar proefstuk toe. Ze was niet alleen zangeres bij Isbells, maar ontwikkelde ook als soloartiest een indrukwekkend parcours.
