The organ of St Michael and St Gudula Cathedral is as impressive as the Gothic masterpiece itself. It scares Maxim Denuc not at all to present his organ music, somewhere between rave and baroque, in his hometown for the first time in a long time. In the dim light of the stained-glass windows, Denuc explores the instrument's possibilities, even enlisting the help of robots and inviting the audience for an immersive listening experience. 
Violinist and performer Elisabeth Klinck also prefers to be on atypical stages. The cathedral becomes the setting for her intimate sonic textures and atmospheric notes. Klinck's work is capable of displaying overwhelming power while remaining vulnerable. A word of advice: keep your feet firmly on the ground, otherwise you'll have to cling to the cathedral's transcendent forces.

L'orgue de la cathédrale Saints-Michel-et-Gudule est aussi impressionnant que le chef-d'œuvre gothique qui l’abrite. Maxim Denuc se met au défi de présenter sa musique pour orgue, entre rave et baroque, dans sa ville natale pour la première fois depuis longtemps. Dans la lumière tamisée des vitraux, il explore les possibilités de l'instrument, allant jusqu'à faire appel à des robots pour plonger le public dans une expérience d'écoute immersive.  
La violoniste et interprète Elisabeth Klinck cultive elle aussi une prédilection pour les scènes atypiques. La cathédrale devient le théâtre de ses textures sonores intimes et de ses notes atmosphériques. L'œuvre de Klinck est capable de déployer une puissance écrasante tout en restant vulnérable. Un conseil : gardez bien les pieds sur terre, sans quoi il faudra vous accrocher aux forces transcendantes de la cathédrale.

Het orgel van de St-Michiels en St-Goedelekathedraal is al even indrukwekkend als het gotische meesterwerk zelf. Het schrikt Maxim Denuc allesbehalve af om zijn orgelmuziek, ergens tussen rave en barok, in zijn thuisstad voor het eerst in lange tijd voor te stellen. In het schemerlicht van de glas-in-loodramen verkent Denuc de mogelijkheden van het instrument, roept hij zelfs de hulp in van robots en dompelt hij het publiek onder in een immersieve luisterervaring. 
Elisabeth Klinck staat als violiste en performer ook het liefst op een atypisch podium. De kathedraal wordt het toneel voor haar intieme geluidstexturen en sferische noten. Klincks werk kan een overweldigende kracht zijn, maar tegelijkertijd ook kwetsbaar. Je staat dus best stevig in je schoenen. Of je zoekt houvast bij hogere machten in de kathedraal.
