Gabriel Rios announces his return with a new album and a new tour that of course
also stops in Brussels. The most Belgian of all Puerto Ricans will be live in
AB!Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Gabriel Rios settled in Belgium at the age of
17 to study painting at the Lucas School of Arts in Ghent. He came into contact
with artists such as Jo Bogaert (Technotronic), jazz pianist Jef Neve, Kobe
Proesmans (The Colorist Orchestra), multi-instrumentalist/producer Ruben Samama
and embarked on an exciting musical journey. As such, he releases a number of
captivating albums ranging from Latin crooner/pop music on 'Ghostboy' to
introspective singer-songwriter tracks on 'This Marauder's Midnight' and
rediscovers Latin classics on his 2021 album 'Flore'.On his sixth forthcoming
album, Rios sings exclusively in Spanish and his roots form the themes for the
self-written songs. He returns to his initial artistic influences while managing
to renew himself, revealing a side of his personality that is both engaging and

Gabriel Rios annonce son retour avec un nouvel album et une nouvelle tournée qui
passera bien sûr par Bruxelles, le plus belge des Portoricains retrouvera son
public en live à l’AB !Né à San Juan, Puerto Rico, Gabriel Rios pose ses valises
en Belgique à l’âge de 17 ans pour étudier la peinture à la Lucas School of Arts
de Gand. Aux contacts d’artistes tels que Jo Bogaert (Technotronic), le pianiste
de jazz Jef Neve, Kobe Proesmans (The Colorist Orchestra) et le
multi-instrumentiste/producteur Ruben Samama, Rios se lance dans un voyage
musical électrisant. Il réalise ainsi une série de disques passionnants entre
crooner latino/pop (Ghostboy), auteur-compositeur-interprète introspectif (This
Marauder’s Midnight) et redécouverte des grands classiques latinos, comme sur
son dernier album en date “Flore”, sorti en 2021.Avec son sixième album à venir,
chanté uniquement en espagnol et sur des chansons originales, Gabriel Rios remet
ses racines au centre de ses thématiques. Il plonge dans ses influences

Gabriel Rios zich op 17-jarige leeftijd in België om schilderkunst te studeren
aan de Lucas School of Arts in Gent. Hij komt in contact met artiesten als Jo
Bogaert (Technotronic), jazzpianist Jef Neve, Kobe Proesmans (The Colorist
Orchestra), multi-instrumentalist/producer Ruben Samama en begint aan een
opwindend muzikaal parcours. Zo brengt hij een aantal boeiende albums uit
variërend van Latin crooner/popmuziek op ‘Ghostboy’ tot introspectieve
singer-songwriter tracks op ‘This Marauder’s Midnight’ en herontdekt hij
Latijnse klassiekers op zijn album ‘Flore’ uit 2021.Op zijn zesde nog te
