Aatt enen tionon & herses, duo - Boris Charmatz

Three dancers divide themselves between the three levels of a tower, isolating themselves from the gaze of each other. In the choreography Aatt enen tionon no one is touching the other. The space for movement is reduced to the strict minimum. The radical choreographic approach is based on an interplay of solitude and paradoxical tensions that only the spectator can perceive. In herses, duo a duet taken from the creation herses (a slow introduction), the desire for fusion becomes the driving force behind a sculptural and carnal dance.

Trois danseurs se répartissent sur les trois niveaux d'une tour, s’isolant ainsi du regard des autres. Dans la chorégraphie Aatt enen tionon personne ne se touche. L’espace de mouvement est réduit au strict minimum. La démarche chorégraphique radicale repose sur un jeu de solitude et de tensions paradoxales que seul le spectateur peut percevoir. Dans herses, duo extrait de la création herses (une lente introduction), le désir de fusion devient le moteur d’une danse sculpturale et charnelle.

Drie dansers verdelen zich over de drie niveaus van een toren en worden zo geïsoleerd van elkaars blik. In de choreografie Aatt enen tionon raakt niemand elkaar aan. De bewegingsruimte is gereduceerd tot het strikte minimum. De radicale choreografische benadering is gebaseerd op een samenspel van eenzaamheid en paradoxale spanningen die alleen de toeschouwer kan waarnemen.
In herses, duo een duet uit de creatie herses (une lente introduction), wordt het verlangen naar versmelting de drijvende kracht achter een sculpturale en lijfelijke dans.
