Weekend Warriors, it's time to plan Defqon.1 2024 again! Those who have traveled and raved with Ravecation before know that we stand for unity among ravers from all over the world. We go to festivals as strangers, but leave as family. Experiencing these events together just makes them all the more fun. We have several buses and friendscamp spots available for this edition. **DEPARTURE/ARRIVAL - AMSTERDAM** The buses will depart from bus parking 'Piarcoplein' in Amsterdam Sloterdijk station, this is also where we will return after the event. [Estimated time of departure is 10:00AM] **ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE - DEFQON.1** The buses will drop you off at the entrance of the Defqon.1 campsite. Upon arrival we will set a meeting point so that everybody knows where we get picked up for the way back. [Estimated time of departure for early return bus is 08:00AM] [Estimated time of departure for the normal buses is 12:00PM] **CAMPING EQUIPMENT** To complete the weekend experience we offer camping equipment packages to our bus guests. All ordered products will be available for pick-up at the bus before departure. Simply order your camping stuff, and we'll take care of the rest. **FRIENDS CAMP** Traveling solo? Or do you want to rave with an international crew? Our Ravecation friendscamp is located near the festival entrance and is a fenced area with features like partytents, picknicktables, games and an international atmosphere. If you purchase the friendscamp ticket you will be guaranteed of a good campspot. A special wristband from Q-dance is included. After your purchase you will be contacted by the Ravecation team and added to our WhatsApp chats. Op 23 mei gaat de twaalfde editie van SPRING Performing Arts Festival van start in Utrecht. Tien dagen lang zijn de theaters en straten van de stad het toneel voor theatermakers uit binnen- en buitenland. Het SPRING programma zit vol onverwachte artistieke perspectieven die zich verhouden tot de meest urgente zaken van het moment. In aanloop naar de start van de kaartverkoop op 4 april licht SPRING een tipje van de sluier op met de eerste zeven namen van makers die naar Utrecht afreizen.

IJslandse multi-instrumentalist Ólafur Arnalds brengt zijn rondreizende festival OPIA naar Utrecht! Verwacht meerdere live-acts, dj’s, sprekers, ontmoetingen en verrassende samenwerkingen – volledig gecureerd door Ólafur Arnalds. Inmiddels zijn de eerste namen bekend, met o.a. de zorgvuldig opgebouwde ambient van A Winged Victory for the Sullen, abstracte industriële schoonheid van Kelly Lee Owens (DJ-set), Scandinavische jazz van Svaneborg Kardyb en jazz, elektronica, ambient en minimal-music mix van Portico Quartet. Ook staat Ólafur Arnalds zelf op het podium voor een exclusieve show, samen met Janus Rasmussen vormt hij het elektronisch duo KIASMOS.

Lerares Rachel (Virginie Efira) tikt de veertig aan als ze smoorverliefd wordt op Ali, die ze tijdens een gitaarles leert kennen. Al snel raakt ze ook verknocht aan zijn vierjarige dochter Leila en krijgt ze ook te maken met de moeder (Chiara Mastroianni) van het meisje. In deze nieuwe situatie ervaart Rachel niet alleen moedergevoelens voor Leila en alle risico’s die het houden van andermans kinderen met zich mee brengen, maar begint ze ook haar eigen kinderwens te herontdekken. Regisseur Rebecca Zlotowski (‘Un fille facil’, ‘Grand Central’) baseerde zich deels op haar eigen ervaringen en onderzoekt met ‘Les enfants des autres’ de vele verschillende vormen die ouderschap kunnen aannemen. De film werd geselecteerd voor de filmfestivals van Venetië en Toronto in 2022.
