Expect a night of English comedy at its best on the most controversial topics of today from Radu Isac and Victor Patrascan! You'll hear tasteful jokes about race, gender, the pandemic, religion, identity politics and all the other controversial topics of today.

Radu Isac is a young but veteran Romanian comedian. He moved to London in 2015 and in 2017 made it to the final of the English Comedian of the Year competition.

His stand up was featured on multiple BBC and Comedy Central programs and he opened for the likes of Louie CK and Jim Gaffigan.

Victor Pãtrãşcan is a pretentious stand up comedian and outrageous social commentator who was born in Romania. Since he started performing stand up comedy in 2012, he has told his jokes in front of a crowd of people in the UK, Germany, France, Holland, Austria, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, Finland, Spain, Ireland, Belgium, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Poland, United Arab Emirates, Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania.

Since April 2021 he's been touring his stand up comedy show "the Dirty Immigrant" throughout Europe. In 2019 and 2020, he traveled through Europe with his show called "The Trouble with Being Born Romanian" in over 30 cities. During the same years, he topped the charts at No1 in the rankings of ''Roast Battle London''. Earlier this year, Victor was a special guest on the Romanian TV show iUmor where he provoked and scared religious people throughout the country.

Over de voorstelling Iemand: "Doe nu eens rustig, man! Laat het allemaal los." Bert: "Oké... maar hoe dan?" In zijn tweede muzikale solovoorstelling 'Stroom' gaat Bert Van Puymbroeck op zoek naar 'inner peace'. Hij neemt het publiek mee in zijn zoektocht en dompelt hen onder in zijn ontdekkingen over de mind-body connectie. Gefascineerd en gebiologeerd door de menselijke psychologie ontrafelt hij de schoonheid van jezelf ontdekken op een 'alternatieve' manier. Een verbindend gesprek tussen een zoekend publiek en een zoekende mens. Wat vooraf ging Voor deze nieuwe theatervoorstelling is Bert in gesprek gegaan met therapeuten en coaches uit de alternatieve gezondheidszorg en coachingswereld. Hij was benieuwd naar een andere blik op de wereld. Hij ontdekte tijdens zijn vooronderzoek een aantal op het eerste zicht rare en bizarre methodes en therapieën. Barno koevoet & the duijmspijckers Frontman en songschrijver Arno Vahoutte vond de rudimentaire nummers die hij tijdens de eerste lockdown neerpende eerder moeilijk passen bij z’n andere band Budget Trash, dus stampte hij gewoon een nieuw project uit de grond. Dat stampen mag je vervolgens ook op eerste worp ‘2020 ep’ vrij letterlijk nemen: het vijftal knalt doorheen amper zeven minuten vier verschroeiende hardcoresongs tegen je smoel, vlijmscherp en vaak verrassend inventief. Mitraille Mitraille's levensmotto is er eentje van Sleaford Mods held Jason Williamson: "Go listen to some fucking garage punk, you pointy little tit." En dat vat meteen helemaal samen waar de band voor staat: vettige punk en vuile garage, gemaakt door de roadie van Equal Idiots en zijn maten die iets te veel naar Ty Segall's Slaughter House hebben geluisterd. Begin 2018 brachten ze 'Schroot' uit op Belly Button Records (o.a. King Dick en The Jagged Frequency). Rehash Jonge helden! Maarten van Buyten en Willem Liczner besloten een band te starten nadat ze een show hadden gezien van een lokale punkband. Ze namen hun eerste nummers op in KASK Studios met Yunas De Proost (Meltheads) en zijn nu volop bezig aan een EP onder het toeziend oog van Pieter Van Buyten (Flip Kowlier, The Kids, Roosbeef, … ). Moderne (Post-)Punk, Boordevol Energie!!!

« J’aime faire rire. Pour moi, c’est une politesse. » dit Léonard Berthet-Rivière. Quiconque a vu ou verra le spectacle qui plonge dans les arcanes d’une histoire abracadabradantesque, trouvera ce jeune homme et sa complice Muriel Legrand de fait immensément polis. Qu’on en juge un peu : soit un vaudeville à table (ou presque), quatre actes, treize personnages, un acteur et une actrice ; soit une vendetta ourdie par Gérard contre son concurrent Raymond, le jour où celui-ci vient enlever sa maîtresse, Inès, femme de Gérard, alors que Frédéric, le fils de Raymond vient demander la main de Sophie, la fille de Gérard, enceinte jusqu’au yeux… Tous les ingrédients d’un vaudeville roboratif et d’une folle journée réunis sous la plume magistrale de Roger Dupré dans laquelle s’engouffrent l’actrice et l’acteur surfant sur l’absurdité d’une partition frénétique où la fantaisie mène le bal, et dans lequel on passe de la lecture savoureuse à deux têtes à une danse endiablée à mille bras. Symbolique et poétique, loufoque mais jamais dingue, Le mystère du gant pousse la tradition vaudevillesque à son paroxysme, touche l’absurde et ne se refuse aucune astuce pour nous redonner goût aux histoires. Un pied de nez salutaire à la sériosité et à la morosité qui fait beaucoup de bien.
