VLADIMIR TORRES « Brujos » est une invitation au voyage sous toutes ses formes, du voyage intérieur à la réalité d’une expédition, avec la découverte empathique de nouveaux mondes et de cultures variées. Le titre de l’album signifie « sorciers » en espagnol. A travers l’interprétation fortement habitée des compositions de Vladimir Torres, les membres du trio deviennent des sorciers qui pratiquent la magie musicale afin de communiquer au public une certaine idée de la transe et de la communion spirituelle. CONCERT: SINGÜLAR Les chemins de Pascal Schumacher, Edward Perraud et Sebastian Studnitzky se sont croisés lors d’une résidence d’artiste à « Opderschmelz ». KASALLA Nicht immer sind die Ideen, die zwei Typen nachts um 2 nach einer langen Party an einem Küchentisch haben, wirklich richtig gut. Aber aus dem, was Ex-„Peilomat“-Gitarrist und Songwriter Flo Peil und Sänger Bastian Campmann da planten, wurde was: Kasalla. Zusammen mit den alten und neuen Weggefährten Ena Schwiers, Sebi Wagner und Nils Plum sprangen sie mit dem Plan, die Musik, die man liebt mit Texten im heimischen Sprech zu kombinieren in den Proberaum. Jetzt, 10 Jahre später, ist die Schnapsidee richtig erwachsen geworden. Nicht zuletzt aufgrund des Charterfolges ihres 2017 erschienenen Albums „Mer sin eins“. Das vierte Studioalbum der Band schaffte es auf Anhieb von 0 auf Platz 5 der deutschen Albumcharts und bescherte der Band somit nicht nur die erste Top Ten – Platzierung ihrer Karriere, sondern auch den aktuell höchsten Chartentry einer kölschen Band seit BAP im Jahr 1981. Die Erfolgsgeschichte der Kölner wurde 2018 durch ein weiteres Megahighlight gekrönt, denn sie wurden für den deutschen Musikpreis ECHO nominiert.
