With a Russian-Belgian background, commanding stage-presence and wit beyond compare, she's bringing her debut standup comedy show "Fear is Good" to Maastricht. Join her at the Kumulus Theatre for an evening of laughter, jokes and stories.

Esprit D’Air, een Japans elektronisch metal solo-project van getalenteerde vocalist, multi-instrumentalist en producer Kai, brengt voor de eerste keer de J-metal en J-rock sound naar de Nieuwe Nor. Ze zijn niet alleen bekend om hun opvallende muziek, maar ook om hun sterke doe-het-zelf-ethiek. Kai, de drijvende kracht achter de band, neemt alle muziek op en produceert deze zelf in zijn eigen thuisstudio. Dit zorgt voor een unieke en authentieke artistieke visie. Esprit D'Air heeft internationale erkenning gekregen, met features op gerenommeerde platforms zoals Billboard, HuffPost, Loudwire, BBC Radio, Kerrang! en Louder. Hun geluid combineert intense agressie met melodieuze vocalen en elektronische synthesizers, waardoor ze een frisse en opwindende mix creëren. De band heeft talrijke prijzen en prestaties op hun naam staan, waaronder het winnen van Best Metal Album bij The Independent Music Awards voor hun debuutalbum "Constellations". Deze bekroning werd toegekend door een jury bestaande uit onder andere leden van Slayer, Sepultura en Amy Lee van Evanescence.
Emma est une dessinatrice féministe, auteure de bandes dessinées et ingénieure informatique française. Elle a contribué à populariser le concept de charge mentale en France. Suite à ses publications, la question de l’organisation du travail domestique dans les couples hétérosexuels est abordée dans de nombreux journaux généralistes. Emma ne se considère pas comme illustratrice et assume le côté brute de ses dessins : « On n’achète pas mes livres parce qu’ils sont beaux mais parce qu’ils sont parlants ». Venez explorer le concept de charge mentale chez les femmes à travers les illustrations captivantes d’Emma. Fatma Turgut behoort tot de meest vooraanstaande vrouwelijke rockartiesten van Turkije en wordt geroemd om haar kenmerkende stem. Met dit concert zal ze haar eerste Europese optreden geven. De zangeres maakte in 2007 een vliegende start in Turkije met haar band “Model” waar ze de leadzangeres van was. De band was heel populair in Turkije en hun albums bereikte hele hoge cijfers. Helaas ging de band in uit elkaar en ging Fatma Turgut als soloartiest verder met haar carrière. Haar debuutalbum “Elimde Dünya” (de wereld in mijn hand) kwam in 2019 uit en werd heel goed ontvangen. Sindsdien heeft ze samengewerkt met grote namen als Sertab Erener, Sabri Tuluğ Tırpan, Emre Aydın en is ze in eigen land een graag gezien artiest. Fatma Turgut is one of the most prominent female rock artists in Turkey and is acclaimed for her distinctive voice. With this concert, she will be making her first European appearance. In 2007, the singer had a soaring start in Turkey with her band "Model," where she was the lead vocalist. The band was highly popular in Turkey, and their albums achieved remarkable success. Unfortunately, the band eventually disbanded, and Fatma Turgut continued her career as a solo artist. Her debut album, "Elimde Dünya" (The World in My Hands), was released in 2019 and received a very positive reception. Since then, she has collaborated with notable figures such as Sertab Erener, Sabri Tuluğ Tırpan, and Emre Aydın, and she is a well-respected artist in her home country. Now, it's Europe's turn to get acquainted with this exceptional artist!
