Highly recommended! I haven't laughed like this in a long time." © Sasha "Dima is fantastic and he created a great atmosphere, it felt intimate, like we were amongst friends who knew each other already, so we could afford to laugh about more tabu topics" © Sebastian "When we saw that only the front row seats were left, I knew we were in trouble 😀 but I’m so happy we ended up exactly there because Dima’s interaction with public is fire" © Luminita 🍉 Who is Dima Watermelon 🇺🇦 Dima is a professional funny person from the outskirts of Chornobyl, Ukraine. His unique comedic style is a mix of absurdity, social commentary and some allegedly inappropriate jokes. Self-proclaimed inventor of mumble comedy. And yes, Watermelon is indeed his real surname, simply translated into English. Being naturally funny, Dima, only started doing standup after he moved to Berlin in 2015 to make sure not to lose his sense of humor while integrating into German society. Since then, Dima has performed in more than 20 countries, including renowned locations such as the Gotham Comedy Club in New York, the Comedy Store London, and famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Living in three different countries and visiting over forty, Dima is no longer simply Ukrainian, but not quite European either. Stuck in this absurd cultural limbo, he finds laughter is his best coping mechanism. Instagram: @dimawatermelon Webtsite: www.dimawatermelon.com

ABOUT THE CONGRESS
The 2022 ENCATC Congress is certainly a special one. Not only we will get back face-to-face and be able to meet each other again, but it will also be the occasion to celebrate ENCATC’s 30th anniversary and a long history of networking in Europe and beyond.
Under the theme “Internationalization in focus: theoretical, strategic and management perspectives in education, research, policy, and practice”, the 2022 ENCATC Congress will take place in Brussels and Antwerp on the 17-19 October 2022. Organized in partnership with our member the University of Antwerp, this flagship event will bring together scholars, educators, policy makers, cultural managers and artists to reflect on the present opportunities and challenges for internationalization. Following the successful editions of the past years, the 2022 edition of the Congress will be once more structured on an action-packed programme including keynotes, interactive debates, presentations, panel discussions, group sessions, and networking. It will also include the ENCATC Research Award Ceremony and the Young and Emerging Researchers Forum, one of major ENCATC contributions to the European Year of Youth 2022.
